What services do you provide?

I offer a photo booth rental to keep guests entertained and engaged for weddings and events in the Okanagan Valley.  I service areas from Kelowna down to Osoyoos.  

Why do you recommend renting a photobooth? How does having one at a wedding enhance the guest experience? 

Wedding events are such happy, memorable times when friends and family come together to celebrate.  Attending guests want to take home some extraordinary photos of the evening to relive and reminisce with friends back home.  Most of the time, they take home a few awkward selfies taken on their smart phones, but nothing too epic.  

That’s where the photo booth comes in!  There’s something about a photo booth that brings out the playful side of people and sheds those ‘in front of a camera’ inhibitions. .  Perhaps it’s the props that help people relax or the fact that it’s not a person staring at them with a camera.  Whatever the reason, the photo booth delivers those hilarious photos that you want to show off and share on social media for friends and family to see.

The other beauty of a photo booth is that it entertains every age group.  From granny to the little flower girl, everyone wants their turn with the photo booth.  And as the evening progresses the photos get more and more creative!

It’s definitely the photo booth antics that your guests will remember and talk about around the water cooler.  Most guests have never seen a photo booth in action or experienced using one, so it’s the icing on the cake (pardon the pun) having one at your wedding.  After all, everyone wants a wedding to remember! 

Do you recommend having a backdrop? Do you recommend letting the wedding planner design the backdrop? 

It really depends on the venue and client.  Some clients prefer the open air as the backdrop and others have a space where a backdrop is not needed.  

I do however offer several backdrops to choose from.  They measure 8’x 8’ in size.  So the space where the photo booth would be set up would have to accommodate that size if a backdrop is required.  

Whether the backdrop is designed from the planner or a backdrop is chosen from my inventory is strictly up to each couple.  

Do you deliver or do I arrange for it to be picked up & dropped off? 

I personally deliver the photo booth, set it up and take it down at the end of the rental.  All the wedding hosts are expected to do is enjoy using it.

How does the photobooth work? Is it easy? 

It’s super easy!  All touch screen and the on screen prompts are very clear and easy to follow.  Even a child can easily use it.  

Are guests able to download the photos they took? 

Even better than that… guests can instantly get their captures via text, email or airdrop so they can start sharing the fun on social media..  It’s so easy, and again the on screen prompts are simple to follow to accomplish that.  

And we don’t only offer photos.  Boomerangs, GIF’s and video are other popular options that guests can choose from on the touch screen menu.  Every capture is immediately uploaded to a Live Gallery where you can instantly relive the memories from your event.

At the end of the evening a gallery of all the antics (photos, GIF’s, boomerangs and videos) are made available to the host couple via email. 

What is the average client investment? 

Pricing starts at $650 for 3 hours.  There are other add ons and hourly options to choose from as well.  

Do you offer props for guests to use?

Absolutely!  That’s the fun of the photo booth experience.  I have my own personally curated props for wedding events and can customize props to suit your event.  

There are also digital masks that are available that guests can choose on the photo booth prompts.  

Can you customize the photo booth to my wedding/event colors and style?

Yes!  Get a customized interface and LED colors to perfectly blend in with your environment.

 Do you have any advice for engaged couples that you can share while they’re planning their wedding?

Yes, coming from the wedding photography industry myself, I recommend booking your venues, photographers, wedding planners, flowers and of course your photo booth early in the wedding planning.  The Okanagan is such a wedding meca and things get booked up quite quickly.  Once the big things are in place, then couples can breathe a bit and enjoy organising the smaller things that make the wedding day a special celebration event.
