Photography has been a passion of mine since I was a child, and I feel incredibly lucky to turn it into my career. As a mom to three amazing boys—including a set of identical twins—I know just how quickly time passes and how important it is to capture life’s fleeting moments.
I love spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking, camping, or fishing in the summer, or breaking trail with my snowshoes and skis in the winter. My love for the Kelowna and Okanagan landscape has shaped my photography style—it’s warm, airy, and soft yet colorful and grounded.
My approach to photography is all about capturing genuine, candid moments. Whether it’s a wedding, a family session, or an equine shoot, my goal is to make the experience easygoing and stress-free, so you can focus on being present in the moment.
I specialize in maternity, lifestyle newborn, and family photography, with a special passion for the connection between parents and children. I also offer equine photography—a love that began when I was just eight years old and has stayed with me ever since.

Mikhaela and Colin photographed our wedding this summer and we couldn’t possibly be happier with how it all went. The photos are AMAZING. From the beginning the process was so easy, Mikhaela communicated with to us find our style and personality and to determine what our vision was. She was so organized and captured every angle, every pose and every moment from getting ready down to the reception. We were so comfortable and their directing was so kind, relaxed and efficient.
