As a wedding photographer in the Okanagan, I have compiled a list of Kelowna winery wedding venues that I know you’ll love.
Kelowna Winery Wedding Venues
Summerhill Pyramid Winery
If you are looking for a high class, luxury winery wedding venue in Kelowna, this is it! There is even helicopter and limo access in case you’d like to do a grand entrance that nobody will forget. Summerhill Pyramid Winery offers 4 unique venues to choose from, including a ballroom, the Summerhill Pyramid (talk about a unique venue- a literal pyramid!), and two lawns. Summerhill has been voted the Best of Kelowna wedding venue for multiple years in a row and includes event management that will make sure that every last detail is flawlessly executed on your wedding day.
Brook & Barn
If you’d like a winery wedding venue with a little country charm, then Brook & Barn is the venue for you. Keep in mind they’re booking 1.5- 2 years in advance- you’ll need to act fast if you want this venue! This working farm has been in operation for over 100 years, giving you heritage and depth. The venue offers a vineyard, orchard, barn, heritage buildings, dance room, and a view of Kelowna. Brook & Barn includes many of the things that you’ll need, including chairs, tables, wine barrels, an iron archway, and string light as well as parking including parking attendants. Another nice note about this venue is as they only allow limited bookings every year, you have the full weekend to set up, host your wedding, and then pack up the next day. You may bring in your own caterer or use one from their list of preferred vendors.
50th Parallel Estate
The 50th Parallel Estate is great option if you want to have a bigger wedding, as you can invite up to 350 guests. This Okanagan winery offers a stunning lakeview on its 61 acre property. It offers 5 different event spaces including an event centre, crush pad, gravity lounge, winery tank hall, and an outdoor infinity event pad that overlooks the lake. The winery tank hall is very unique- a large hall lined with towering wine tanks. Imagine having your reception dinner there! The 50th Parallel Estate additionally offers wedding planning, complete food & beverage services, a bridal suite and décor including wooden tables and chairs.
The Vibrant Vine
Located in West Kelowna, the Vibrant Wine is a gorgeous winery set in the hills that is perfect for weddings with up to 70-100 guests. The Lakeview Room & Terrace is, as the name suggests, a bright indoor room combined with a gorgeous terrace with stunning views of the winery, hills and lake; a perfect place to say your I-Do’s. The ‘Maple Avenue’ event space is surrounded by vines and has a canopy of beautiful maple trees, and is gorgeous in the fall. As a third venue, Jacko’s Lounge offers you the opportunity to wow your guests with live music and distinct ambience. The Vibrant Vine offers catering, event planning, rehearsal lunches and wine tastings.
CedarCreek
CedarCreek is a very elegant Kelowna winery wedding venue perfect for couples that want a modern vineyard feel to their wedding. Host a romantic wedding on the lawn in the garden under the stunning pergola. Then have delicious canapes made by the specialist chef & team of the winery in the ‘Pavilion’- a stylish, open air building with a modern but grounded feel. The ‘Homeblock’ is a modern building with deep roots thanks to its construction materials being partly made of reclaimed barnwood. Cedarcreek offers a very unique and special ‘Trust the Chef’ dinner menu, in which you allow the chef to build exquisite, seasonal dishes paired with Cedarcreek wines. Cedarcreek can accommodate 60-100 guests.
OAK ESTATE
Located on 5 acres in Summerland (half an hour south of Kelowna), Oak Estate is a popular choice for a reason. Oak Estate Vineyard overlooks Okanagan Lake with spectacular views each way. Most couples choose to get married on the lawn with the lake background, surrounded by the vineyard. Aesthetically pleasing décor includes wine barrels and string lights. You may use the patio for your bridal dinner. Rent the 6 bedroom villa for you and your wedding party to stay in and get ready in. It features huge windows with panoramic lake views. Oak Estate’s chef will work with you to create a menu for your stay including your rehearsal dinner and post wedding brunch.
HILLSIDE WINERY & BISTRO
Hillside Winery & Bistro in Naramata (about an hour south of Kelowna) will make you feel as if you are being married in Europe. It’s unique architecture, landscaping and patio look over vineyards and Okanagan Lake. There are indoor as well as outdoor seating options, including and upper and lower deck. The executive chef and award winning wine maker will design a unique meal that you and your guests will love. Covert Farms
How would you like to have a wedding in a barn? The timber log barn can accommodate up to 150 people, making for a gorgeous wedding with a country feel. Or, have a smaller wedding in the wine lounge. If that’s not enough variety, enjoy your ceremony right in the vineyard. Located in Oliver, south of Kelowna, Covert Farms offers wine tasting and charcuterie boards that will be sure to please your guests. Then they can enjoy lawn games as well as walks around the 650 acre agricultural farm and vineyard.
Off The Grid Organic Winery
Imagine having your wedding ceremony and surrounded by 30- year old vines overlooking Okanagan Lake on a warm, sunny summer day. Off The Grid is a West Kelowna winery wedding venue that is a gorgeous venue for your ceremony with a cocktail party to follow. Their collections include a wine tasting prior to the ceremony, wine & cheese reception, a PA system, quality seating and décor. This is definitely a great choice for wine enthusiasts!
